This page provides an overview
of the CSD International Work Programme on Changing Consumption and Production
Patterns. The Division for Sustainable Development is the Task Manager
for chapter 4 of Agenda 21, "Changing Consumption and Production Patterns",
and has a co-ordinating and facilitating role in the discussion on promoting
sustainable consumption and production patterns. The Division is responsible
for carrying out the International Work Programme on Changing Consumption
and Production Patterns, and for the overall review of chapter 4 at the
7th session of the CSD in 1999.
